We've been busy in the art rooms at Bryant and Pattengill Elementary. Here are some projects we worked on this past fall.

All of our Bryant & Pattengill artists began the school year by viewing contemporary art by various artists: Sam Gilliam, Maya Hayuk, Felipe Pantone, Jesus Rafael Soto and Jen Stark. View their artworks here.
The students analyzed their work and realized that they all have something in common: the use of vibrant colors! We created colorful drips inspired by this work. The students' work is as different and as colorful as we all are! Honestly, I am so proud of our students!! I am so so proud of all of our Bryant artists! now that we have some great supplies to work with, let's make sure we have them with us and ready to use for art class. This week is all about reflection. We are going to think about all the wonderful things we've learned about and accomplished together! It's been a great year! Things ended a little differently this year but it has made me feel even more proud to be your teacher. You've worked hard and you deserve to have the best summer ever :). See you in the fall!
