What is color? Well, it's pretty complicated. In short, color is caused by the process of light bouncing off or being absorbed by things. We only see the colors that bounce off the object. This is how artists use color in their artwork: Color Wheel Challenge!! Find colorful objects in your house or outside and arrange them in a color wheel. Here's what I came up with: Y5/K/1st Grade Lesson For this lesson, we will be drawing and cutting out ladybugs! First watch the video below (Eric Carle's "The Grouchy Ladybug") or if you have it at home, read the book! 2nd/3rd Grade Lesson 2nd and 3rd graders will be making warm/cool colored hand designs: 4th/5th Grade Lesson 4th and 5th graders will be working on making a color spinner.
